Ingredients

  • cup Butter

  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar

  • 2 tbsp Honey

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

  • cup Flour

  • ¾ cup Walnuts, chopped

  • ½ cup Sifted Powdered Sugar (for coating)

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder

Directions

  • Beat butter in a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
  • Add ½ cup powdered sugar and beat until well combined.
  • Mix in honey and vanilla essence, beating until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually beat in as much flour as possible; stir in the rest with a spatula or by hand.
  • Add chopped walnuts and mix thoroughly. Use hands if needed to form a soft dough.
  • Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 1½ inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 160°C for 10–15 minutes or until the biscuits are lightly golden.
  • While still warm, roll the biscuits in sifted powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon powder.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Once cooled, sandwich two biscuits together with peanut butter or chocolate spread for a rich twist.
